- Bright Trip: The Bright trip is on! The date is the weekend of the 20th March. One night accommodation, 2 course dinner and cooked Breakfast $84.00 pp twin share. Single supplement $30.00. Friday or Sunday night also, $125.00. Bookings will be required. If you are attending, Alan needs to know and have a deposit now!.
- From our Quartermaster: Members wishing to purchase any Ulysses Merchandise are encouraged to place their orders through the Branch Quartermaster Judy Pyne.
(See email for phone number) There is no additional cost involved in placing orders through your local branch and the branch benefits from a small commission.
Dont forget, caps and patches/badges with the Branch Logo are still available. Caps $12, Patches/Badges $15 and Shirts $35 or $30 with or without a pocket.
- Ride Reports and Photos: If you come on our rides, we now ask that you fill in a participants book. The ride leader will ask you to fill in your name and a contact number. Please make sure you fill this in so we know who is on our rides. Graham is going to try to organise ride reports, which have been sadly lacking this year, as have photos. If you have any photos, or reports of rides, please forward them to me. It would be helpful if you can send the photos in jpeg format. I will organise resizing them, and they will then be available for everyone to see.
- First Aid: The committee suggests that all riders on branch runs consider carrying a simple first aid kit to suit motorcycling, and any known medical conditions of the rider. In the event of an incident, the first aid kit might be vital. This was brought up by the riders to the Island seeing a couple of riders no longer upright on their trip home!
- Branch Contact List: We are continuing to develop a list of members who are associated with our Branch. Could you please fill in the contact details book at the Saturday get together, or at our Friday Pub evening if you want to be included.
